At Bennett Woodworks, every piece starts with carefully selected wood and ends with something built to endure. We specialize in custom furniture, cabinetry, and architectural millwork — as well as period restoration and faithful reproductions for clients who want to preserve or replicate what they already love.

Indo-Dutch Colonial Roll Top Desk Recreation
This piece is a close replica of a 19th century roll top desk produced in Indonesia. The original utilizes satinwood and ebony, I chose to use cherry and walnut to create a similar visual contrast. The desktop is a pullout that comes forward about 12" to reveal a full drafting surface and two side panels.
